Grant Request Guidelines
The Raymond C. Kennedy Foundation prioritizes funding for clearly defined programs and projects rather than general operating support. To be eligible, applicants must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations may submit only one funding request per calendar year.
Please note that the Foundation does not consider additional requests within the same year for fundraising events, conferences, or other special initiatives that benefit the organization. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed periodically by the Board of Directors. Only fully completed submissions will be evaluated, and proposals sent via fax cannot be accepted.
If you have questions or need assistance with the online application, please contact the Foundation office at 518-XXX-XXXX.
Funding Restrictions
As a general policy, the Foundation does not provide funding for:
Individuals
Political organizations
Debt reduction or financial liabilities
Religious organizations for sectarian activities
How to Apply
The Foundation understands that nonprofit organizations vary widely in size and scope—from small community-based groups to larger institutions. To accommodate these differences, we offer a simplified application for requests up to $1,000, as well as a more detailed process for requests exceeding $1,000.
